ICF was formed with the following objectives :
•
To raise the professional standards of the consulting
foresters and improve the standards of the work done by
consulting foresters.
•
To develop and expand the work of consulting foresters
and secure increased recognition by the general public
and by forestry agencies.
•
To serve as a forum for the exchange of information and
the expression of opinion and to compile and disseminate
information of interest to consulting foresters.
•
To work with other agencies in developing and promoting
forestry and the interest of the members.
